Another Metroid 2 Remake (Project AM2R) Tribute

Well, I may be late in regards to celebrating Metroid's 30th Birthday (and I am still kicking myself since I am 3 days late for the party), but I did notice on MetroidDatabase.com is that project AM2R was released in it's final form! This piece was actually my entry into the Project AM2R Forum's Art contest from 2014. In the end of it all, this piece took me a full month to get it all colored in (as I was busy with college during that period of time). This piece is a combination of the Metroid Zero Mission, and Metroid Fusion art styles.
Considering how VariaZim eventually showcased her artistic talent with her winning piece (congratulations by the way), and looking back upon this piece from 3 years ago... I thought I could do better. Back then, I was figuring out how Adobe Photoshop worked, and I was just testing out what I could do on Photoshop as it WAS a part of my college degree (at the time).
I hope to make more Photoshop pieces in the future, and I ALSO hope that my craft can improve.
Tell me what YOU think of this. Did I do an alright job, or can I improve my craft? As an artist, you're NEVER too old to stop improving!

Project AM2R once belonged to DrM64; a shame that 10 years of all that hard work he did went down the drain.
